Our care partners will be able to advise on all aspects of extra care and benefits available at each development.

The Extra Care accommodation offered at any of the Priory Asset Management developments in the form of apartments or lodges, are designed to afford the residents the flexibility to retain their independence or utilise the flexible care packages right up to those requiring 24 hour assistance.

The level of care required can be from just 1.5 hours per week, possibly to assist with shopping or domestic duties. All elements of care can be managed by the in house Managers appointed by PAM or the individual can elect to use their own credits with other providers.
It is recognised by central government that there is a shortage of suitable accommodation for the ever expanding ageing population.

PAM has the mission to deliver solutions enabling the development of dedicated sustainable developments to the over 55’s whilst affording them the ability to have “Dignity through Choice and Respect”

The developments spearheaded by PAM follow a template ensuring the delivery of Extra Care, Dementia and Respite Care facilities.
Together with an ageing demographic in the UK, comes the varying forms of dementia associated with it.

In line with our mission to give over 55’s the ability to have “Dignity through Choice and Respect”, PAM recognises the requirement to offer this to elderly residents who also suffer from dementia. Dementia not only affects those diagnosed with it but also the family and carers of those caring for them, in different ways.

Our care providers within the developments will be able to offer dedicated care packages ranging from day care to full one to one support. The dementia units are designed in accordance with statutory guidelines by our industry leading architects to ensure that the residents benefit from living in a secure, enhanced facility, that contributes to their quality of life and well being.

Services offered by our care provider include:-

  • Retaining or regaining basic life skills
  • Reducing confusion
  • Social interaction
  • Increasing self esteem
  • Cognitive stimulation therapy
  • Personal care
  • Practical help

The residents requirements are continually monitored and assessed to reflect the changing circumstances that they may encounter over time.

All of the Priory Asset Management developments are able to support and offer short term Respite Care and Convalescence.

The aim of Respite Care is to offer short term care to individuals to enable family members or carers to take a break from looking after a loved one. This facility will leave family and carers safe in the knowledge that whilst they are taking a well deserved break, their loved one is being cared for by professionals and in beautiful surroundings.

After an operation, many individuals are apprehensive at the prospect of returning home, especially if their mobility or care needs have changed. Within our developments, we also offer high quality Convalescence Care to address this need. As well as giving patients support upon release from hospital, it also enables those who might need temporary addition care, the ability to do so without having to rely on family or carers.
